Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Aramats (Arackathara Group) collects when you visit this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 7 September 2026

1. Introduction

Arackathara Group ("Aramats", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to aramats.com (the "Site") and describes the limited personal information we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

2. Information we collect

We keep the data we collect to what is needed to respond to you and operate the Site:

  • Enquiry & contact form details. When you submit our contact form, your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and message are used to open a pre-filled email in your own device's email application, addressed to info@aramats.com. That message is sent from your own mail client — we do not capture or store form submissions on a server before you choose to send them.
  • Direct correspondence. If you email or call us, we hold that correspondence (and any attachments) for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or business relationship.
  • Technical & usage data. Our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically log standard technical information for security and reliability purposes, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and timestamps. We do not currently run analytics or advertising tracking on the Site.

We do not require account registration to browse the Site, and we do not process online payments on it.

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to enquiries, quotation requests and business correspondence;
  • operate, maintain and secure the Site;
  • comply with legal, tax, export and regulatory obligations; and
  • improve the content and usability of the Site.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies

The Site does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising, and does not require you to accept cookies to browse it. If that changes in future, we will update this policy accordingly.

5. Third-party services

The Site embeds or links to a small number of third-party services, each governed by its own privacy practices:

  • Google Fonts — used to load web fonts;
  • Google Maps — embedded in our footer to show our location and provide directions;
  • WhatsApp — our floating chat button opens a conversation in WhatsApp if you choose to use it; and
  • Social media platforms — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and YouTube, linked from our footer.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties, as we do not control how they process data once you interact with their services.

6. Data sharing & disclosure

We share personal information only where necessary: with service providers who help us operate the Site (such as hosting providers), with professional advisers, or where required by law, regulation, or a valid request from a public authority. We do not share your information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

7. International visitors

We are based in Kerala, India, and our infrastructure providers may process data in other countries. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.

8. Data retention

We retain business correspondence and enquiry records for as long as needed to handle the relevant enquiry or relationship, and afterwards as required to meet legal, accounting, tax or export-documentation obligations.

9. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13 and we will respond within a reasonable time.

11. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business and trade audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

13. Contact us
